I attempted the offer ($1) this morning and downloaded the program. A soon while later, my internet started acting up and being weird. First some websites wouldn't load, or half of them would. Then my cookies cleaner was bust, then my firefox update wouldn't work right and the list goes on and on. Finally, I realized I must have a virus of some sort. I unistalled a few things and restarted. Still the same...THEN...I unistalled OpinionSquare...and BAM all back to normal.

Opinion Square contains something, I don't know exactly what, but it could be a virus or spyware or something. It has something that you DO NOT want. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND NOT DOING THIS OFFER.

PS: I didn't get credited either.

I had the same thing happen but I got credited the money and even thou I have uninstalled it I havent gotten the credit taken away from me yet. i am waiting to see that one disappear from my list. it took me about a day before my computer started acting up.

my antivirus doesnt allow me to install this program and automatically unistalls it ) so ill never know how it could be )))

I tried installing this program. My computer acted up a bit so I deleted it not too long after. Maybe this was just my computer?

I installed the software on my pc and it went crazy. I did recieve credit and was able to uninstall the software.

Opinion Square is the devil!  I haven't had a virus or pc problem in years. I downloaded it and my pc went crazy, it got worse and worse until I was actually considering reinstalling my Operating System.  I uninstalled opinion square, yet everytime I would do a scan different files including the words 'opinion square' kept coming up.
For whatever reason it seems to have finally been released from my computer now - but it took weeks of scans and trying different software, etc......

It's not worth it.  I joined OS before they had the software and I keep getting e mails to download it.  No thanks, I still get surveys without it.  I have earned $75.00 in gift cards for doing the surveys- not bad.

Thank-you very much for the warning.  As a rule, I won't touch the download offers but some of them do pay very well.  I usually stick to the offers that don't require you to give your credit card.  That does limit your earning ability somewhat, though.

Thank you, now I know which one of the downloads screwed my computer up. We have a back up PC that I download all that junk on just in case it does something like this.

I think that I tried it but was unsuccessful in downloading or installing the software.   I do not think Safari or Firefox would allow me to.  I am so grateful.  I have a MacBook and I was told by Apple that there are a lot of safeguards built in when you get a Mac.  I was able to join Opinion Squares and I will watch for the paying surveys.   Thank you all for your tips.

I installed opinion square, too.  Ever since I have been unable to do any of the daily surveys.  One survey site said I would have to uninstall OS to do their surveys.  I did get the $1 credit for it, but don't recommend it if you're planning to do any daily surveys.

Anytime you have to install a program to get a couple dollars is not worth it. Doesn't matter what it is.
