When do you start your Christmas shopping?

Well if I have money I like to start in mid-November, but usually that's not the case so not until the first or second week of December!

I usually start in October as soon as the Alaska dividend hits and then continue to finish off everybody's list until about the week of Christmas.

Usually whenever we get our other paycheck from paying rent a couple times that has happened on christmas eve. I don't recommend that one bit it was a nightmare. If i had things my way i would go shopping on black friday and follow up on cyber monday but something always seems to happen so there is not alot of money by the time black friday comes but they have such great deals

I try to start as early as I can because money tends to get tight for us around the holidays, so if I buy stuff early, I can get people more presents.

Right after Christmas I start keeping my eye out for birthday and Christmas gifts for the following year. There are always some great after Christmas sales.

I'm actually not doing that great this year, compared to years past. But, I think the economy hasn't helped as I've had to deal with taking more money and using it towards bills. I'm only done with three people and partially on another. Still a ways to go.

I usually shop early and even buy things all through the year, this year I am not doing much shopping.

i shop all year long. throughout the year i add things to lists to cover all the holidays, birthdays, anniversaries for my family and close friends. then, while out doing my regular shopping, if i come across something that's on my list (and within my budget) i buy it. when i get home i put the intended recipient's name on the post-it, affix it to the gist, and it goes in a huge rubbermaid box on the highest shelf in the garage. then its crossed of my list. so by this time of year, i'm almost done with the shopping part of the holidays and i can just focus on the cooking and baking and candy-making!

I usually end up putting it off til like, the week before, which I always try not to do, but usually end up doing anyway ha.

ive already started.  i have 3 kids, so it can get kinda costly if i wait till the last minute.  i just catch stuff all year long on sale that i think my kids would like and then find a place to hide it in the house.  hahaha

i too like to shop all year long and work on things -but usually i'm still buying the bulk of things in nov/december.
