Just enjoy your Birthday the best way you can, no matter who remembers it.  I have four siblings and as we all get older it's rare that they all remember my birthday on time. However, my one brother always remembered my birthday, but on the wrong day each year! Sadly, he passed away way too young. So just be thankful for what you do have!

Hope you enjoyed it anyway, it's YOUR special day and no one can take that away from you!!    I have 2 siblings.  The one that keeps in contact with me doesn't acknowledge my birthday and the one that avoids me 364 days a year will message me a "Happy Birthday" on FaceBook.  Got to take what you can get, I guess.

3 out 5 of my siblings remembered my b-day! Do I have a right to be upset or am I being an over emotional drama queen?

Thank you all for you're support & your well wishes! I decided to spring the guilt trip maneuver on them by thanking the 3 siblings that wished me b-day greetings on time. The next day, the 26th of September, my big sis sent me a belated b-day text! Her excuse, something  about stuff still being hectic in her area in Miami! Oh, come on hurricane Irma was weeks ago, I mean is she still grieving over her tree in the front yard that got blown away?! & finally, my eldest brother every year, he never wishes anyone happy birthday. He opted out of being the responsible eldest sibling from the beginning! It might have been do to the trauma of the neighbors cooking & eating his dog Pluto after my family left Pluto for the neighbors to pet sit. Big bro was about 6 or 7, my big sis was a toddler, I was baking in the oven, & the 3 siblings who wished me happy b-day on time this month didn't yet exist! Wow, why do I feel kind of weird chills going through me?! So, we forgive big brother for forgetting our b-day every year. This incident didn't happen in the US, it happened in the Philippines. Boy, I wonder do they still practice that dog eating practice?!
