My son says there is a tiger in our toilet

its been really hard to convince him that the tiger cant live in a toilet.

some days i find it funny and other days we really need to stop his fear.

For now i have convinced him that tigers dont like pee pee and to pee on the tiger and flush him down

I think that you used reason to convince him that tigers wouldn't live in your toilet since they don't like pee pee.  If your son can understand that, he is either potty trained or working on it so understands how a tiger would not like getting wet by urine.

we are working really hard on the potty training. for the most part he will pee every time in the toilet but there are several tigers that also live in our apartment. under beds in closets and those have been harder to make him feel okay about

peeing on the tiger has almost become a game lately

Is this from the phrase "lions and tigers and bears" - an expression that means monsters?

I liked the cereal commercial with the Tiger mascot practicing the following chant with the team:
Everywhere we go, people want to know
Who we are, so we tell them:
We are Tigers! Mighty mighty Tigers!

It portrays tigers as being friendly.  I was never afraid of tigers.

I used to imagine a family of snakes living in the closet and a dragon living under the bed.  They ran a junkyard and were able to eat the garbage out of my wastebasket.  I thought this was why the trash disappeared every night - then I found out that my mom was taking it away.
