Hey, I would like to listen to some of his old songs and see how he seems to have weathered aging.  I don't blame you for being a bit excited.  I would like to see some oldies in concert myself, although there are some newer artists I would like to see also.  The problem is with many of the newer artists that their concert tickets often cost "an arm and a leg." Too pricey for my pocketbook.  I might make an exception if Christina Aguilera happens to come to a venue near enough!

That's awesome!  Thanks for your update after the show.  I love that these oldsters can keep entertaining and doing what they love to do.  I had the opportunity of seeing Andy Williams' show right before he died, and his voice sounded the same, also. He was amazing.  I've thought that about Tony Bennett, too.

I have always like  Tom Jones and all of the others in his age  group, boy  it does tell us our age, I got to meet him one year along with Tenn.  Ford, Roger Miller, Perry Como, the Fireballs and  a lot more other country singers. I was lucky enough to be living in a couple of big cities where there was concerts and rodeos going on and  working for  one of the major Hotels  where they stayed.

I know I’m showing my age, and all you young people will say who??  Tonight I have tickets (front row) to see Tom Jones!  He has always been a favorite.  I got these as a Christmas present, he’s appearing at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem PA.  I can’t wait until 7 pm.

I don't know who he is but I have heard of him.

Glad it was a good show and that you enjoyed it.  A lo of the solo acts seem to put on great shows, and he does have a lot of hits to fall back on.
