No. The definition of chatter is below my post. Even used as a noun, it cannot be a person. But I know what you mean. If there is a body next to me, I will talk to them.

And just in case you didn't notice, I'm a stickler for correct grammar and spelling. Lord love a duck, I don't know why I'm this way.

It depends on the situation.  If I am in a check out line and someone makes a comment to me I usually respond but normally just do what I need to do and get on my with day

I used to be more of a chatter but not to excess now I just rather go my own way and have others do the same. I like doing these posts but I am more of a loner now.

I enjoy conversing with others but dont like to if i sense they are bad listeners and i can tell right away.Chat has to be mutual on both ends otherwise i care not to.

I have an outgoing personality so I enjoy talking to strangers.  It is usually people that I know that I try to avoid...
