don't play much card games unless we are at a family get together,,,,  like Christmas or Family Reunion.  Then we get about 10 people and play "31"  for $1.00    LOL    its always fun !!!!

Hard to beat gin rummy. Poker sounds fun in theory but I must never have gotten the hang of it because it's boring to me. Blackjack is easier to follow.

My favorite card games include freecell solitaire, pyramid solitaire, tri-peaks solitaire and California speed (which might also be called James Bond).

I like to play Rummy, Kings Corner, WAR, Uno, and Pyramid Solitaire.  I have played Hearts, and Spades when I was a kid and 31 some years back.  I would need a refresher to play each of those games.

My mom used to take us camping and we always played card games at the campsite.  Such fun such memories.  We played gin rummy, another card game that I can't even think of right name (darn getting old) LOL it was such fun back then.  Oh just saw another post that named the game I was trying to think of "UNO".

I grew up watching my Grandfather play pinochle and Gin Rummy.  He actually taught me to play solitaire.  My grandmother and her siblings always played bridge.  My mother says she grew up watching them fight and says that game is lethal in making enemies.  I've tried to learn bridge, spades, and hearts but I just can't wrap my head around the rules.  I do like playing Blackjack.  It's simple and all you have to do is get to 21.  But honestly, I stick to the kid games like Uno, Go Fish, War and Old Maid.  My favorite of the pack is Spider Solitaire.
