Homework in 3rd grade!!!

HA! an hour...... thats nothing compared to mine. tell ur child to cherish every second of their hour of homework cuz that will child. and if they whine about how much it is whack them for me

Probably the biggest difference would in the discipline level and methods used in the school systems, though.

What's to discuss? Homework in 3rd grade is not unreasonable.

Throughout my years in school it was always apparent that the schooling was getting better and the kids were learning more at younger ages. It is even more so evident with having a child in school.

I will agree also that the discipline has changed as schools as alot more strict then they were when I went. I say it is in a good way.
