Black Friday

I did the Black Friday shopping on Friday because my kids wanted to go... at a nice outdoor shopping complex, it was really nice with all the Christmas lights & outdoor tree lit up. It was an okay experience, nothing too crazy except the parking was horrendous & the line at Starbucks was a half an hour wait.  Other than that, my kids got some really good deals & had fun so it was a good time & festive for the holidays.   We went to Bass Pro Shop & spent time in there as well, they had $10 fleece jackets & flannel jackets... good deals if you needed a jacket & not too crazy crowded.

Actually, I was so happy that most of the stores I shopped at had their Black Friday deals on-line for Black Friday so I didn't have to go into the stores.  So I did my black Friday shopping on-line that day rather than wait for Cyber Monday.

I saw them fighting in the stores for electronics & clothing, this just turns me off. I will order online..

I don't do that day too many crazy people. Cyber Monday is cheaper

I was out of the country for Black Friday this year, and I did not miss it at all. I came back to hundreds of emails advertising sales and I deleted all of them.

me either, I used to go. Several years back I saw two grown men get into a fist fight over a tv. That ruined it for me. Im snug in my bed asleep when others are out in the cold

I just don't like the crowds but if you go to small little stores like the ones in a strip mall (not the shopping malls) the crowds aren't really bad.  You just have to stay away from those major department stores.  Kohls, Best Buy etc. those are always lethal on Black Friday.

I have never gone out shopping on Black Friday.  My mom worked in Retail for many many years and she always hated working that day.  I don't like crowds so online shopping works for me.

So great of Best Buy to be running a Cyber Week incase anyone didn't get what they wanted on Black Friday.

Black Friday seems literally insane and fairly dangerous to me.  I do a lot of my shopping online, and I've found a lot of good deals, so I'm happy! I just hope consumers reuse/recycle the packaging from their online orders!

There where so many people  I had to wait in line for 2 hours just to pay for the tree. I decided after that night I would never go to another Black Friday ever!

I am surprised there were any left.  Our Walmart usually only has 1 or 2 of the super items.  They only have to have 1 to advertise the sale. And now they hand out the wrist bands so the people in the store don't have a chance. The bands are gone 24 hours before the sale starts.
