Do you use your garbage disposal regularly?

Funny you brought up this subject.  My disposal is rather old and isn't grinding as efficiently as it used to.  I was just thinking I may be getting a new one at the same time I am getting a new kitchen sink this summer.  I use mine enough that I would miss having one!

We don't have a garbage disposal, so we put stuff like that in the top of the freezer until trash day pick up.

It seems bizarre to me that people would throw garbage down the sink. Even if it's ground up, where do you think it goes? You're asking to clog your pipes. Throw it in the trash.

Never had one and really don't want one.  I just put everything in the trash can and take it out every night after dinner.

To be honest, I keep reading online so many things you shouldn't put down the garbage disposal so I rarely put anything down it.

I do use my disposal very regularly. I don't put potato peels tho;  it always jams mine up!

I do not have a Garbage Disposal, but it is on my list for a Christmas Gift. I hope that I get one.

I belong to clean plate club so I have very few scraps and I never put peels down so why bother with it

No, I have never had one before. We just have always threw our garbage out with our trash.

I try to use it for peelings, egg shells etc.  Have to always put something to odor control afterwards.  Usually baking soda and lemon juice......
