I did a survey earlier today online and the results of this survey was more people would vote for Trump over Obama currently. I don't know if that is true or not but I would agree with it.

It most likely is true.  That is what I am seeing on social media where people can post their own thoughts (until they are taken down) LOL.  The democrats are too stupid to see they are just turning more and more people against them.  And people are jumping from their party in droves.

And people like you are the problem - name-calling and generalizing an entire party group is so narrow-minded.

Trump is a moron, and what's dangerous about it, is he has people blindly following him. Sorry, but that sexist pig is a disgrace. Travel anywhere in the world and people are stunned that we as a country allowed someone like him to represent us.

I did not vote for Trump, nor would I vote for him if he ran again. Seriously, he is gross.

My opinion of Trump is not my opinion of his party, but I do wonder what they are seeing in that fool.

Well, look at the who's calling out someone for name calling. Do you realize what you just did?  Calling out someone yet you've done the exact same thing!  Somehow, people are not looking in the mirror before they comment on any site, liberal or conservative. It pays to think before acting, not post in anger or hate.

I do understand what you are saying, but I also feel like the way people are acting and responding to Trump in a completely different way than they did with Obama.  A lot of negative things could be said about both, but I can't lump them together.

The difference in the two is when obama won the Republicans got up and went to work the next day and they carried on with their lives.

When Trump won those who are democrat started protesting in the streets, breaking things, stomping and screaming, burning buildings down, and acting like a 2 year old spoiled brat.  And they have kept it up for 2 years.  Get over it. Your person lost.

There are two different elements after Trump won the election. Those who are "breaking things,"  and out and out destroying private businesses are not Democrats. They are Anarchists. They, themselves, are hypocrites . They call themselves Antifa(against fascism) but are fascists themselves and are funded by those who want to bring down this country.

Those who protest in the streets,  stomping and screaming and acting like a 2-year-old child are very ill-informed about what's really going on in this country. They are being manipulated by the Hollywood elites  which, in my honest opinion, aren't educated enough about reality. They live in their own world of the rich and famous and believe anyone who doesn't live in their world aren't worth the space they take up in the country. Funny, how they spout stupidity about the rich should pay more when THEY are rich themselves. They could pay extra in taxes if they wanted but do they volunteer? Heck, no! They take all the deductions they can and they scream climate change caused by CO2 emissions and get rid of fossil fuels, yet fly around the world in their private planes and heat and light their mansions via power plants that use fossil fuel, screaming about the high cost and it's because of the changes forced on the power plants to control emissions. Vicious circle. They want to blow up the white house, punch Trump in the mouth,  hint at assassination, pretend to shoot him with a gun, call him a *bleep* or Hitler, yet think they have a right to say such things but are against those who disagree with them.

They have also been manipulated by our education system that is changing the history of our country to suit their radical views. It started back in the '60s and is so severe that they are merging into the elementary schools now.

Trump isn't a politician. He wasn't elected by the above manipulated people. He practically financed his whole campaign by himself without lobbyists or the powerful and he does not speak like a real politician who never tell the truth, just say what people want to hear. He doesn't bow down and fall in line with anyone's ideas. he's his own man. The true politicians don't like him because of those reasons. That's why some people voted for him. Others voted for him because they didn't trust Hillary. Too much baggage.

If you listen to CNN and MSNBC, the only people who voted for Trump were uneducated and stupid. That coming from college professors. writers. and political commentators.  I know many college educated and smart people who graduated before radical liberalization took over and/or younger ones who saw the takeover coming and they didn't vote for Hillary. They don't want socialism and the new Congress is made up of a lot of people who are radical. I am afraid for our country in the coming years if it continues.

...and that's MY rant for today.

Thank you for admitting you are narrow minded.  LOL  And before you get all mouthy - go back and read your comments.  You said name calling is narrow minded and then YOU in your very next comment call Trump a moron. LOL at you!

Obama is a moron and was very dangerous and still is very dangerous for our country. But you do not see that because he represents the party you belong to.  Everything you say about Trump has been said about obama.

You just proved my point. You do nothing but insult and put down anyone who is Republican and their ideas and are not even willing to compromise.  democrats want to belly ache about the government shut down but don't want to talk about when obama done the exact same thing to get his obamacare shoved down everyone's throats.  And look what a disaster that has turned out to be.  The ONLY difference is eventually the Republicans gave in for the good of the country.  The dumocrats have said they will never agree to ANYTHING that Trump tries to do.  So get ready to live in slum like you see in these third world countries.  We are going down and the dumorats are taking us there.

Well I voted for him, he may be  blunt and to the  point.. but he is trying to do something for this country.  But the democrats are so narrow minded that they would rather see us be overtaken and turned into a third world and have civil war then to work with him.  As far as  having voted for Hillary  no way. would I want our country under her  power.  There is an undercurrent going on in our country that is down right scary. As Obama, Soros and a lot of the democrats want one world order. And Obama was  doing his best to get us there.  No way.

Exactly!  And when these idiots wake up and see this it will be too late.  The best thing about it is the Christians are not going to be here to have to endure it. :D

LOL, Hillary beat Chump by 3 million popular votes! In other words he did NOT win.

YES he DID win!

That is WHY he is the president.  He won more states. He won the electoral vote. We do not go by popular vote. If we did we may as well become the Divided States of California because that is who would decide everything.

LOL.  Thank you!  Yep I pointed that out to her as well.  People are so foolish.  People had better, as you said get rid of some of their hate and anger and start working together or we will not have a country much longer.  And the idiots who think they want socialism (because they feel they are entitled to what others have worked for) need to pull their head out of their butt and look at countries where socialism is failing.  You still have the rich and everyone else is starving to death.  And eventually it will get until people are fighting and killing for food.

It is like that old gospel song  "I Wish We'd All Been Ready" where it says "a piece of bread would buy a bag of gold".

But in reality we are going down because people are too full of hate.

But the rich hollywood elites are democrats.

You make a good point.  They do live in their own little world and they would not associate with the likes of you and I.  You and I, the ones who pay their salaries.  And yes, we do pay their salaries.  We go to their movies, buy crap associated with them, and products endorsed by them.

You also make another good point - there are video games and I seen one of the app store where you kill President Trump over and over.  If a video game had been made like that about obama the person behind the game would have been arrested and anyone who played it would be called a racist.  I cannot comprehend how people are so stupid they cannot see they are doing the same thing they accuse others of.  They got mad and screamed and yelled if you used a variation of obamas name to make fun of him but the very same person makes fun of Trump calling him everything in the world and thinks that is okay.

I will point out one more thing in your "rant"....Not only did Trump fund his own campaign but he has not taken any salary since he went in to office either.  He has donated every pay check.  Now how many of the others in the past have even donated as much as one week of their salary? NONE of them!  And the witch wouldn't donate a dollar of hers to anyone.

Trump is cruel he is trying to stop everthing

lol No he isn't.  He is trying to stop illegals from flooding in to our country.  The exact same thing obama did.
If that is your only reason then you need a reality check.

Sometimes there is good people on both sides. Trump side is racist. Plain and simple.

I just wish there was not a double standard. That's my biggest beef with it all.

Let's be honest. Donald Trump is an *bleep* sometimes and usually more often than not. He is disrespectful and he is a hot head when he tweets.

But the man IS my President plain and simple. On that fact alone, he deserves my respect. And regardless of the biased media spin, he does have the best interests of MY country at heart. When he does or says stupid things, I need to recognize that and be critical of it if I feel the need.

Barack Obama can be a very charming man. I disagree with much of his politics and policies. He was still the President and he deserved (and received) my respect.

Again, the problem lies in the double standard. ::)  I have zero respect for anyone who blindly says that everything Obama did was right and just and that everything that Trump does is evil and racist. (And I have just described 90% of the mainstream media and a few of the people who post on these boards).

Disagreement with an Obama policy does not make one a racist and agreement with a Trump policy does not make one a bigot.  But the prevalence and inherent unfairness of that mentality being tossed around has only served to bolster my stance on a lot of issues.

We have elected officials who flip flop on strong national security issues only because Donald Trump is a proponent of something they formerly espoused. We have news media who refuse to say anything negative about Obama or Hillary and elevate them to godly status, but will harass and disrespect Trump to no end and always paint him in the worst light possible. Anyone who disputes that is either blatantly dishonest or blind as a bat. And this is nothing new (Reagan and both Bushes were always more harshly criticized than Carter, Clinton, or Obama ever were) - it is just more accepted now because of Trump's brash demeanor - which I agree is a liability.

It is this double standard of Trump can do no right and (take your pick from the Democratic side) can do no wrong that is the real source of division and 'hate'.            Be objective, people. Be objective.

Every president has their faults and just like us they are not perfect. However, I do feel sorry for the thousands that are not receiving their paychecks because Trump is acting like a spoiled brat.  You can't always get everything you want and you need to learn how to compromise the good of everyone

You make a lot of sense.  And say some of the EXACT same things I have said.  People are just snowflakes and don't like the way "I" word it.  I am blunt and to the point.  A lot of things Trump has enforced and is doing are things started or agreed upon when the democrats were wanting to do the same thing. But when Trump says let's do this - the democrats have to buck on it.
