Cataract Surgery
« on: February 21, 2019, 09:32:20 am »
I have cataracts which are now impairing my vision significantly.  I was set against having them done but I am miserable vision wise and I am only 65. Have any of you had it done?  I saw eye drops online which supposedly will heal them naturally but I am not sure about the validity of that either.

I don't know about the eye drops, but I have cataracts in both eyes and have to have surgery on both eyes which I will be having soon.  I know several people who have had it done and they said that it was a piece of cake.  I know the eye doctor told me I can't drive the day of the surgery, but I can drive the day after.

My mother in law did it a month ago and  didn't take long for the surgery. After that her vision is good and just need sometimes an eye drop if she feels dry.

I had it done and it didn't hurt at all and I thought it would. the surgery actually made my eyes greener. I like that. have no worries about getting it done.

i had it done.  I was scared because it was my eye, but honestly there was nothing to it.  Please don't hesitate, get it done, it doesn't hurt and you will be surprised how well you can see again.

I probably would not believe that.  If eye drops would fix that then everyone would do that and not have the surgery.  Look at the reviews for the eye drops.  See what others are saying.

Is there anybody who doesn't get cataracts when they get older?  I'm beginning to think it's just part of the aging process!  I've had lots of friends who have had the surgery, and I haven't heard any complaints other than having to deal with the demanding eye drop schedule immediately afterward.  I know that I will have cataract surgery in my future.
