nothing to watch.
« on: February 12, 2020, 11:07:05 am »
Analog t.v.  These talk shows are getting old.  Two times a day and most of the week, same guests same topic.  Really isn't there more going on in the world.
Smart t.v.  Many free apps lots of things to watch.  One would think.  Most of them have much of the same content, repeated several times during the day.
I did find content that I can really enjoy.  Escapes.  Music with scenes.  Some landscapes, cities and towns.  It's like taking a vacation with out the trouble to travel.
I just let it play all day and do my daily work.
Do you find t.v. boring these days?

Everything is repeats. TV today is a few new seasons but only 5 or 6 episodes. Whatever happened to season from Sept. to May or June with repeats until September?  Now it's the opposite time table. I'm going to cut the cord as soon as I figure out what I need to do. Getting close to understanding what I need.  Hope to do it soon. Not worth my Triple Play cost of over $216 a month.

I can find lots of things to watch that I enjoy.  I have an indoor antenna and can pick up several stations with a variety of shows.

I've got a handful of shows that I find interesting and intriguing. Most shows these days seem to be hastily put together, not well planned, and just plain boring! And don't even get me started on reality shows. All that is is putting attention-seeking people with low moral character together and seeing who can verbally bash who. Just my opinion.  :peace:

wow.  I don't get cable.  I used to pay for prime but even then they don't have good content any more.  So I stick with the stuff that is free.

I don't watch much TV shows as there is definitely a lack of originality but, if your looking for something to watch, I'd recommend You, Dark, Sex Education and MindHunter all on Netflix, which I'm sticking too.

Yes I have two streaming services with two UK add on's and I still struggle to find something to watch and at that some of it I just watch to have something to watch and don't find it that interesting.

This will date me, but recently I discovered many old episodes of Hopalong Cassidy, and have watched them all!  They are so entertaining to us oldies!  I remember having a Hopalong Cassidy lunch box when I was in elementary school.  Discovering these "Hoppy" shows lead to watching all the old seasons of "Little House on the Prairie."  They just don't make them like that any more!

I mostly watch my things online now and I have a good amount of back log that I want to watch but no time to do it and on the actual Tv I just turn on the news now and that's about it.
