There are a lot of scammers out right now, I worry about my elderly mother because all the telecalls make her nervous.

The scammers are coming out in droves. It's unsettling that people will still take advantage of others.

Some people cannot survive without the extra help.
Other people are trying to scam people with extra money.
It is all very sad. Be very carereful...protect yourself!

It is nothing new. People are always trying to get money for nothing. Right after all this started I was contacted by someone (which was a scam) claiming to be a rep for one of my accounts and it had been compromised and I needed to click "their link provided" and confirm information. They then wanted a phone call "to the number provided" to confirm my credit card number.  I was thinking how can anybody be stupid enough to fall for this.

So if you call me and say something needs to be confirmed I say YOU need to be the one providing info and I will tell you if it is correct. HA!

IRS doesn't email and they do not call. There are scams out there . Anything that involves money seems to bring them out to prey on others

Ugh, it's so frustrating how people can take advantage and try and scam people during a freaking pandemic.
