Today I have the day off of my job, so I am enjoying the great summer weather.  I have set up my laptop outside under the patio umbrella and am doing monthly paperwork and paying bills.

I would much rather be floating on a floatie at the lake......but maybe later!

Summer is too short!

Watching a lot of YouTube. Also trying to get 30 posts in have 29 so close.  Been watching to much tv. Did have my son visit this weekend  that was nice. He works at a food bank and says they have had as many as 1200 cars come by for food.  Steph curry from the warriors came by and donated 200000 dollars worth of food.  Good people.

I'm happy to say I got a few green beans and a tomato from my garden  in the back yard.  Some of the items don't really like these high temps and are not producing but I get excited if I see some growth.  I grew flowers from seeds for the first time and they finally bloomed.  I'm getting supplies to make a raised garden since I will be home due to this virus.

I got off work early today and had high hopes of grabbing an inner tube and going to the lake to just float and relax.  It had been 80s all day.

As I walked to my vehicle, it started sprinkling!  By the time I drove several blocks, it was a downpour.  The water was running curb high in the gutters and semi-flooding the intersections because it was coming down so hard. 

Forecast says it will be sunny in an hour or so!

Making masks is an awesome idea.  I don't have a sewing machine.  I haven't sewn since before I had my first child.  I think I forgot how to do it.
