I hate the select-a-size. The kids bought me a package of them back before you couldn't find any paper products but after they decided old folks should stay home.  Being new at having someone else do the shopping, I forgot to mark the brand I use so they got a cheap brand that falls apart as soon as they get wet. I used to use them to wipe the counters, table, wash dishes, wipe down cabinets, and dust. Can't do it with these. I now use them as coasters under the coffee cups. I still have 2 rolls left and I sure hope the next time they can find the full size ones, plus I hope they can find my favorite brand.

In MA, the stock up in grocery stores and superstores is reappearing which is nice to see. No issues with supply here. Best wishes.

I'm just lucky to find any type of paper towels.  I don't care what kind they are or what size they are just as long as I can find some.

This sounds like me.

I think so many people have been  buying in bulk, regardless of the size; that was problem in our area as well but now things seems to be easing up on the buying and it is much easier to find things like paper towels and toilet  tissue; where as when this pandemic first started you could not find in any store! but at least now they are showing back up in the stores so hopefully that will happen in your area as well. But with this pandemic going on; we may all start to have the problem again finding what we need.

I have been searching online for the industrial paper towels, huge roll and very inexpensive.  I found they work just as well even if they are thinner than brand/store brand paper towels for clean ups and I 'm saving the regular for food use.  I prefer to drain bacon fried foods on regular paper towels.  I have some prices around 6  huge rolls for 38.00, about 6.66 each. They last forever, I've been using one for over a month and it's still huge!

Update 7/21

Finally found a deal, after GC from a survey site, I paid 23.00 plus tax for six rolls, 800ft.  Normal price was $34.56 6 roll case.  This should last a long time, for cleaning and pick up spills.   Now the expensive paper towels will last even longer!! Win Win.

I've seen single rolls but mostly for toilet paper that's sold for 99¢ or less. Paper towels are mostly two-packs or more.

We are lucky to have any at all available.  Tear a size works well for napkins since you cannot buy those either. I did finally break out my long stored stash of cloth napkins and we use those at the table.

I shop at Walmart where one roll of paper towels is only 0.50 cents.
Other brand names are overpriced!...anywhere you go.
You have to look at price tags and compare products.
