Walking is one of my favorite activities when it comes to exercising, but I also try to incorporate some strength training a couple of days a week. That is important as well.

There's plenty of workouts you can do at home. For example, search for Leslie Sansone on YouTube. She has very doable workouts, even for small spaces.

I would love to get back to walking but I have arthritis in both knees and chronic back problems.  This is frustrating because in the past I always walked 8 miles or 10,000 steps.

I am lucky to walk 10 minutes before my lower back gives out now days, but I guess that's better than nothing.

If it's raining I just walk in the house (especially up and down the stairs) to get a little exercise.

Unless I misunderstood you (and not wanting to burst your bubble), it is unlikely that you were ever getting 8 miles from 10,000 steps. For the typical person, one mile is a bit more than 2,000 steps - so at 10,000 you are likely doing 4.5-5 miles. Maybe you meant that you did one OR the other of 8 miles/10,000 steps - in which case my comment is pointless.

I haven't been able to do any walking in months.  I suffer with Chronic back pain.  In the past I was able to walk 8 miles per day.  I really miss it.

I like to use a bouncer,i find myself not wanting to exercise if its not fun

I have been doing water aerobics for sesveral years.  It is great.  It is was a way to get out during Covid.

I like to do yoga to calm my mind,yoga has helped keep my back limber.It took about three weeks to notice the difference :highfive:
