Here, it's been sporadically snowing and with terrible wind chill. Pretty at first, but not fun to be outside in.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Teenagers??

Teenagers can do dumb things and make bad decisions... but I like to think it's because they're learning. They're not quite adults yet but in some ways they're treated like it, but they're still relatively young and easily influenced. As they age, they'll look back and realize how terribly they were acting and grow up.

Off-Topic / Re: how often do you go on vacation

Every few years, I'll take a trip with family or friends, though it's been a while. I guess work has been taking up most of my attention and it's not like school where you have a clear "summer break".

Honey Bunches of Oats, Rice Krispies, or granola-based cereals. Rice Krispies are the only cereal I'll eat with milk though.

Off-Topic / Re: What is the easiest meal you can make?

As many have said, eggs are really easy. For something simple but healthier, stir-frying vegetables is super simple- all I use is oil and salt. Frozen vegetables also are really convenient since basically all you have to do is melt them and season them. As long as you don't overcook them, it's really hard to go wrong. Ramen is also really easy, and to make it a more "complete" meal, adding in vegetables, an egg, leftover meat, etc. gives it more substance.

Off-Topic / Re: walk or run?

Unless you walk for a really long time, it's probably better to run- more effecient and more of a workout, especially if you're sometimes limited by time or weather. If you're just trying to stay fit, it probably doesn't matter. If you're trying to improve, running will be more challenging and show more results probably.

I do some reading on the internet or go running if the weather isn't bad.

I love yard sales! Never really looking for something specific because then I end up spending too much time and effort searching and often it's not really worthwhile. However, sometimes I find really cool books or trinkets for a steal!

Good luck! I'm in the same boat. I've gradually cut out almost all junk food over the past couple years, so my diet has gotten better. Now, I'm focusing on exercise. I usually work out at home or go running, but my goal for this year to stop being scared and just go to the gym!  :)
