Hello.

I checked out of FC for a bit to see how if it would recover. Losing TAP was a big deal for me because that was the only way I could get my 5 cents for the PTC. I recently cashed out at another site that it took me years (thank goodness their points didn't expire) to get to that minimum cash out amount. I decided to drop that site from my list. I just don't have the energy to keep plugging away for hours each day, for months just to get to the payout. I may be burned out on surveys.

It's just that FC was such a sure thing for me. I've only been on FC a short time, relative to how long everyone else has been on here, but I loved getting to those cash outs. I'm just not having luck with surveys.  Maybe I aged out of the demographic they're looking for. I am so disappointed that it's just seems like such a struggle.

I'll check back in again. Oh, I hope I'm pleasantly surprised and FC gets back to its glory days. There wasn't any other site as good as FC that I could find.

I have been hearing this for months now but now it's finally happened. This makes me very sad as Tap has been the bread and butter of FC for me. I could always guarantee at least the 5 cents to earn the PTC. I, luckily, just cashed out what may be for the last time if FC doesn't find another survey aggregator. I wish everyone luck in the future. And I hope FC comes through with another company as good as Tap.

There is a mobile survey site app that pays 10 cents per DQ and is pretty easy on cell phone. I'm not certain that I'm allowed to mention an opposing site here so I'll just use initials: SotG. I've cashed out multiple times over the years I've had it and it still doesn't disappoint. Their customer support is amazing. So, just in case anyone needs an additional site to add to the collective survey basket, there are other options.

As for TAP it's been fine for me. But I'll keep my fingers crossed just the same.

There's a section on FC where you can check if your browser will communicate with FC et. al. (https://www.fusioncash.net/faq.php?crediting) The DQ bonus on the FC and SaySo surveys only works if the survey can tell FC that it was DQed. If you configure your browser correctly (except those times where no DQs work because the site isn't working right) you'll get the Tap and SaySo DQ bonuses.

I've heard some say that Tap no longer gives DQ bonuses. However, I seem to get them regularly. What I don't get regularly are FC Survey DQ bonuses. Those are rare for me, so I don't try those much.

If I recall correctly Figure8 took over Crowdflower. Then Appen took over Figure8. Appen is supposed to be a good company to work for, when you can get in, that is.

Either way I don't have access to many tasks because of that ***** bill that became law in California to make all gig workers supposedly employees. I used to do transcription work but every transcription company I worked for dropped their California-based workers because of that bill. I wish the woman who decided to create and promote the bill would have taken the time to research the gig economy and which workers were truly being exploited and which weren't. To throw all gig workers under the economic bus was so very wrong. End of rant.

There are other task companies out there. I hope FC gets another one for us to work with.

I don't like this term either. There are many fine, honorable officers who take their job of protecting the community seriously. It was a beautiful site seeing officers taking a knee and praying, officers marching with protesters in solidarity.

However, especially after yesterday, I feel as if we are on the edge of a precipice. In years past, I've seen soldiers on the streets and in airports--especially after 911. Back then, it gave me a feeling of safety that they were watching over us. Now, when I see soldiers, whether national guard or military police, shooting tear gas and rubber bullets (and some say real bullets--though I can't verify this claim) into crowds of peaceful protesters who are NOT looting or vandalizing anything, it sends chills down my spine.

The day that it becomes the norm that the military is the policing force of our streets, our towns, and our cities is the day that we are no longer America. That's the day that we become like any other war-torn, third-world country under a military regime. It's time to be very wary and watchful. Because after it happens it will be too late.

I'm not a person who falls victim to conspiracy theories. I have always researched and vetted information to make sure it's factual.  I don't fall for chain mail warnings of imminent doom. That said, I've lived long enough to have seen people protesting peacefully being left alone. And waves of armed soldiers keeping the peace during desegregation who had to, at the time, be forceful with those who weren't peaceful. But this is different. Instead of soldiers keeping the peace in times of terror, they're being asked to do something that goes against their oath. Their being asked to fire into crowds of people--men, women, students, children.

Our representatives are our voices in the government. They represent us. It's time to be watchful and to call out anything that doesn't seem right (especially with regard to the military patrolling our streets) and to let our representatives know how we feel. We have the power of our vote and they need to listen to their constituents or we'll vote them out of office. It's our job to keep them accountable. Because if we do nothing, what happens to us will be no one else's fault but our own.

One thing to check is whether your browser updated and instituted some "security" changes. Sometimes a browser will block something that FC needs access to in order to record your earnings/DQs.

I just hope the scientists and doctors figure out why children who have been exposed, or who've had Covid-19 are developing the terrible inflammation of their internal organs. And they don't even get those weird effects until well after they're infected. It's bizarre. If I'm not mistaken, no other "flu" virus does this. This novel coronavirus is a nasty one.

God bless those kids and all the other kids who this virus is adversely affecting. I pray that the effects of Covid-19 don't have long lasting consequences for them--or for anyone else, for that matter. Time will tell.

Yes, this happened to me as well but I figured out why. It wanted permission to access to my location. When I checked my site settings and checked Location, both the PTC and daily email worked. This is new since I've never allowed location before. But whatever works, at least these days.

Well, for whatever reason FC stopped crediting DQ bonuses for the FC surveys for me again. Oh well, easy come easy go. I'm just happy that the site it back online.

It's been much better after Tap started working again.  Even so, I don't I'll be able to cash out this month--but next month I will for sure (keeping fingers crossed). Congrats to those on earning streaks.
