Since there have been no new debate topics lately, I want to know what D&D thinks of the TSA's new security measures.
The security measures in question I am talking about are the combination of the new imaging scanners in some airports, combined with the new pat-down rules. Basically, these image scanners take a picture of your nude body under your clothes, and someone checks the picture for anything that may be hidden under your clothes.

Q. If a passenger does not wish to be screened using advanced imaging technology, do they have options?
A. This technology is optional to passengers in the U.S. Passengers who opt out of imaging technology screening will go through alternative screening, including same-gender pat downs. Passengers flying to the U.S. from international destinations should check with the country from which they are flying regarding that nation’s policies. For more information on use of advanced imaging technology in the U.S., visit

http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/guidance_international_flights.shtmThe pat down is more invasive than normal pat downs; they are allowed to use their fingers and hands to check every part of you, including grabbing and lifting *bleep*/genitalia over clothing. The part that really gets me steamed is even children have to get these pat downs if the parents don't want them to go through the scanner, though children under 12 get a "modified" pat down. I don't want my 14 year old brother molested by a possible pedophile just because he doesn't want someone to look at his naked body via scanner.
Personally, I am uncomfortable with both of these choices. If the airport near me gets one of the imaging scanners, I don't think I will fly anymore. The idea of picking between letting someone I don't know look at my naked body (even through an image) or getting one of these "new" pat downs makes me rather upset, actually. I believe TSA is going completely overboard with these new regulations. What does the rest of D&D think?
