Off-Topic / Re: computer updates

It gets annoying how often I'm being told my pc needs to update. Like really, it does not need that many updates that often especially when they aren't always important updates. But, at least it's nowhere near as frequent as iTunes or Java. lol

Off-Topic / Re: When was the last time you played a game on your cell phone?

The last time I played a game on my mobile phone.... Around eight or nine years ago. Because that was the last time I even had a mobile phone and I still do not have one now.

I'm not much of a reader. I'm not a total stranger to books, but relatively unfamiliar with the large majority. lol I just recently bought four new books though. Will probably take me ages to read them. I'm quite slow, get bored easily (sometimes even with books that really hook me, which are rare finds). I also now hardly have the time to spare to sit and read, so I'm sure it will take even longer.

No, I don't play it on here. I have done it before but not on the site. I've played online in other places but mostly I've played on paper. I used to play those cryptogram things too but I haven't done any of those or sudoku in a very long time.

I don't have any either. Have thought about getting some off and on before but I don't really know what exactly I would want and just don't feel like I could justify spending the money to do it, if I ever had the money and could spare it.

One of my dogs has a barking issue that really makes us angry sometimes. And two of mine can't be in the same room together any more. They just don't get along now and I'm not going to allow them any more chances to get their crap together. lol

Off-Topic / Re: are u trying to lose weight
« on: May 11, 2015, 10:06:01 pm »Message ID: 981917
I try, but I always fail. Sometimes I try harder than other times, and still just can't seem to get it to work. It's very difficult for me to lose weight, even during a length of time where I had even less to eat than I do now (which isn't really much at all). I also have a somewhat physical job and still doesn't seem to do much to help the process. It's frustrating but I also try not to think about it too much in this sense and sometimes that helps me because I'm not anticipating losing this amount or that amount so I'm not stressing about it but even still it's very difficult, but without stressing over it like this it makes it much nicer when clothing start to become a little loose or a favourite shirt (that I haven't tried to wear very often because of the excess weight) suddenly feels like it's a little bigger than the last time I put it on.

I like a lot of things but most of them don't have air time any longer because the series closed or they were pulled. I like to watch Law & Order: SVU, CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Banshee, Dexter, Graceland, Roseanne, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The X-Files, Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Law & Order, and I know there are others but that's all I can think of right now.

Yes, I do like beef jerky. I like the "original" jerky but I think teriyaki is my favourite and next would be peppered beef jerky. Sometimes the original taste is the way to go, but can pretty much never go wrong with teriyaki or peppered (unless you aren't the only one going to be eating it and someone doesn't like the flavoured ones lol).

I have no idea how many lamps I have. I know I have quite a few but they don't all get used. I think the most that are used at any time is about 4.

I haven't had too much trouble this year with allergies. But I do have a constant little issue that persists all year. And my job sometimes causes an increase to my issues but at least it isn't every day that it happens.

The only days I get to sleep in are the days I don't have to get up and go to work. And since I pretty much always have to work on the weekends, then I don't get to sleep in on the weekend.  :bad: :(

Off-Topic / Re: what kind of pizza do you like?

Any kind that doesn't have gross stuff on it. lol I just had a really good pizza at a new little restaurant close to where I live. Their prices are a bit much, but the food was really good and they didn't really skimp on the toppings either so that made the price a bit more worth it.  Oh the pizza had chicken, bacon, ham, pineapple and I'm not sure what kind of cheese it was but I don't think it was your typical mozzarella.

When I was considerably younger it used to be much easier to get to sleep at night but since my teen years I have been having a lot of difficulty getting to sleep and it has even become more difficult.  :bad: :(

Off-Topic / Re: What do you prefer to live in?
« on: May 11, 2015, 09:29:28 pm »Message ID: 981906
I have never lived in a mobile home, a condo or a mansion. I have lived in apartments and houses and for the most part I prefer a house. There are a lot of benefits to living in a house versus living in apartments, but there are also drawbacks. I think overall, for me, so far, I prefer to live in a house.
