FusionCash / Re: A break from FC

I totally know what you mean. I tried to simplify my websites so everyday i can do the bare minimum and make $5+ with just a half hour or so. On the days I do have the energy I will just sit and do my surveys in-between whatever I'm doing in the house. So even if I want a day off which is often) I know I'm still making my minimum $5 on that day over my different websites. Even just doing the dailies on here everyday keeps me in the habit but without being too overwhelming.

Off-Topic / Re: Stay at home moms- how do you make some pocket cash?

I have a collection of sites, like FC that I earn a little money on, I like that if I don't have time to do the surveys on FC and others) I can still do my daily tasks on each site and earn a little money for no time at all. But my absolute favorite right now is Jingit. My husband and I are on this site and for just a couple of minutes of my time I can make $80 in a month over the two accounts. This was a huge boost to my other ventures!!

I am a member of about 6 GPT sites, then maybe another 6 survey sites, then I have the odd site that is a very specific GPT site like only watching ad's or only contributing in a forum. So they aren't quite as general as FC, but they make some good money :)

I was also given $1 back and $1 compensation for a survey that was mistakenly revoked. I got pretty irritated when they initially revoked the money, I know it wasn't their fault, I was just frustrated since I've never had another site revoke any money. Anyway, the fact that they reversed the revocation AND the compensation on top has definitely restored my faith in FC.

I wonder if we're just supposed to be boosting Ken Fisher's search rank. I am getting so sick of this man that I've never even heard about before.

I wondered that to, I've done a few HITs on another website with better pay, crowd flower seems pretty low paying in comparison. But the searches are always the same name with slightly different variations.

Suggestions / Re: Thoughts on Things to Do with FC Earnings!
« on: September 30, 2012, 08:02:52 am »Message ID: 613326
Although I haven't had a check from FC yet, I have used other get paid to sites to fund a sewing machine. I'm hoping to start getting crafty and maybe make a profit from making a few things. Other than that I use the money for fun money like birthday presents. I am a stay at home mom, so having no earning of my own makes buying presents for my husband a bit of a problem, since it's his earned money i'd be using. It also makes surprising him a little difficult when he can see whats going on in the joint bank account haha. So this is a perfect way to buy him things without it eating into the household budget

Suggestions / Re: who really work from home?

I make handmade candles from my home. It's a lot of fun and makes the house smell great! I sell them for anywhere from $1 to $8 depending on the size and complexity of it- like if it's one with several different scents. I made $16 yesterday! Everybody loves homemade candles!! I started not that long ago and it was an instant success.

Just out of curiosity how do you sell your products? And do you have to promote them someway? I would love to work from home, I've recently invested in a sewing machine and would love to make rage doll/stuffed animals to sell online but have no clue how to start. Other than that I do a few online surveys, with a few sites including FC obviously) I haven't really earned an income, more like a bit of side cash - it funded my sewing machine though, so if i become a milionaire from my stuffed animal business i'l have get paid to sites to thank for funding me haha

I did find out the high the rank the wiser the member is.  The ones with four and five stars seemed to know what they are talking about. So when you are reading advise make sure it is from a high ranker.

I like this theory, but I think it's more relevant to FC specific subjects, for other subjects, especially those relating to other websites that might be legit or not, then you might be ignoring valuable information if you ignore the low rankers.

FusionCash / Re: How much have you made TOTAL from PTP

It can take 4-6 weeks to get your posting bonus. I have been approved for one so far. I have one pending 8 days for August and another pending 39 days for September. As long a you submit the forum bonus request form and your 30 posts are contributory, you will recieve your bonus. In the mean time just keep doing the daily to keep your earnings growing and in no time at all you will have your payment and on your way to another. Good luck.

So is this why it takes so long to receive payment? because FC want to check you haven't just spammed the forums to receive your 30 posts?

Congrats, it's slow going for me, I've been on vacation for a lot of this month though, just trying to get into a daily rhythm with this site to try to cash out asap :)

Thanks for everyone's input on how to make money, it's really nice to see it laid out logically with the guaranteed offers etc. Definitely helps a newbie like me :)

I am a little jealous, but more because I've only just stumbled on FC and wish I'd found it sooner, I've done a few other sites to make money for a bit longer and I sometimes think about the extra money I'd have made if I'd been working FC just as long.

Offers / Re: 3$ offer awwwwsome

I like the $3 for 30 posts too, I just worry that the forums will fill up with nonsense with people trying to get their 30 posts, rather than be filled with valuable information. But hey, money is money and it's a nice easy bonus :) so thanks Fusion cash!

Offers / Re: Project Pay Day
« on: September 01, 2012, 01:58:18 pm »Message ID: 597706
When I researched this a few months back I didn't think it was worth my time. It is basically referrers paying people to take up subscriptions to services/products. For example: Netflix gives Bob $150 to recruit 10 people to sign up. Bob offers $10 to 10 people to sign up to netflix. So Bob makes $50 and the 10 people that sign up make $10 each once everything is approved.

The problem is that there are only so many offers in a given day/week/month so taking up people's offers will make you some money but it has it's limits quickly. You also have to sign up with a credit card since the offers are subscriptions to various products/services. So if you don't cancel the subscription/service you can end up paying out more for the monthly subscription than you made.

Becoming the referrer 'Bob' is difficult since there are already a lot of Bobs with good ratings - the more successful offers and completions the higher the rating, which makes it harder for newcomers to compete. A person is more likely to trust Bob with 237 positive feed backs than a newcomer with no feedback or very low feedback.
