Preventing hidden design clashes
« on: June 26, 2025, 10:03:11 am »
I’m about to start a fit-out of an old warehouse into co-working studios, but initial plans already show conflicts between ductwork, steel beams and underfloor heating channels. I want to avoid endless stop-work orders once crews arrive. Has anyone here used a upfront review service to catch these issues before ground is broken?

When I took on a mill conversion, my team spotted risers cutting through crucial bracing and slab penetrations overlapping cable trays. Shooting from the hip with temporary fixes felt risky, so I booked a Constructability Review to deep-dive into our BIM setup. Specialists flagged every clash HVAC and electrical routes impinging on structure, tight clearances in service zones and recommended reroutes before excavation. That proactive check let us sequence work seamlessly, avoid mid-build standstills and keep costs steady. It turned what felt like guesswork into a clear, clash-free game plan.
