I'm super excited. The industry is one I wanted to be in, and the job itself is challenging and interesting, encompassing a wide variety of duties I'm pretty excited to be working on.

Good for you! It is a very tough place out there right now...it is not easy for everyone, and I bet it was not easy for you. Good luck, I hope you keep that job. Sounds like a winning situation!

Congratulations! Feels good doesen't it?  I was between jobs last May and thought that I would never find something and that I was ready to be put on a shelf because of my age(forty nine).  I took a temporary job last June that tied into another temporary job that has lasted this long.  I love this job...the employer treats everyone well and the job has a long term outlook that could turn into a permanent position. The benefits associated with the non-permanent position are great and the ours leave me free to take on additional contract work (and Fusioncash)!  Good luck with your new job!

That is amazing news - congratulations!  I, too, just got a new job!  After being in the Software Development industry for 30 years I am making a total career switch and going into non-profit work.  I am so excited.  For sure it is not the same salary, but the benefit of doing something for people who so need it I think will be far more beneficial to me.  I'm at a time in my life that make big dollars for big business doesn't seem to count much for me.  I'm looking forward to taking my talents and applying them to something that will make a real difference in the lives of others.  Good luck in your new job!

Congratulations! What will you be doing?

I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

i am looking for a new job one that i can work from home.

I know of one place that is looking to hire people to work from home. (It's a real job, even though you are considered an independent contractor) You will never have to pay a dime. It's not MLM or Network Marketing .. Look me up on the social medias.
