I have not worked since December of 2007 due to my illness and I still am fighting for disabilty they are really tight with that.  But Good job on finally getting a job.

Receiving employment is wonderful news. Everyone who is able to work should work and enjoy the many benefits of that employment.  Jobs are rare and to find one is an excellent act.  I myself have found it easier to invest into my own business and put the hard work that I put into running someone else business into my own.

That's excellent news, good for you! It is so disheartening to see just how long it's taken you to find a job and to realize how many are unemployed for long periods in this country. I remember when the job market was so flooded with openings companies were begging and paying large bonus incentives to try and fill positions. I don't know that we'll ever see that situation again....*sigh*....

That is wonderful news!  I just started a new job too, but it's hours really suck, as does the pay........ obviously, huh?  Guess a few pennies are better than nothing, but it still isn't going to make rent.   It still feels good to get up and out and doing something!
