do you dye your hair

I don't have gray hair, I just wanted a change, so I attempted to dye my hair last summer but it was a fail...My roots took the color but left the rest of my hair black. It looked a hot mess. I thought I did everything right by applying the dye to my roots last, but it still didn't come out right. I don't think I'll ever dye my hair again, it's harsh on the hair anyway. To prevent my hair from graying in the future I am taking copper supplements. Hope it works.

I do dye my hair.  I too also do it to cover the gray.  I have had gray hair since I was in my late 20's.  I didn't start dying it until I was in my late 30's.

Yes I do dye my hair. I am completely gray and hate it so I dye my hair brown every couple of months just before I go to the hairdresser so she won't see the gray roots. I tell her it's kind of like cleaning before the cleaning lady comes.

Pretty much the same answer here as well.  Yes, when I get tired of looking at the gray I will dye it. It's hard for me, though, be cause I have dark brown hair and I like the strawberry blonde color best.  I usually have to do it twice to get it to set to the right tone that I like and it takes all day, but I like it .

I dye my hair, partially to cover premature grays.
I'm 23 and my natural hair is red and ashy brown, and it's turning gray.
Plus, I LOVE when my hair is bright red!
