New Years Day Dinner
« on: January 01, 2020, 04:24:43 pm »
I live in Pennsylvania.  There is a huge German/Pennsylvania Dutch community around here.  It’s a tradition most follow on New Years Day to have pork and sauerkraut.  It’s suppose to bring good luck for the coming year.

I live in the south, Memphis Tn.   Black-eyed-peas were always our get luck food.  I haven't done it in the last few years since I'm alone.  Not been very lucky lately and have a can of black-eyed-peas in the pantry.  May bust it open before midnight.

Nothing like that around here just cook at home.  Usually steak, lobster and shrimp with baked potato and salad
