Do you always lock your house?
« on: May 25, 2026, 06:49:46 am »
I always do. Even if I am inside in kitchen, which is right beside the door. I have a co-worker who says her doors always stay unlocked, and she has 2 toddlers. I would be scared.

I lock up every time I leave, even for a quick errand. It just gives me peace of mind, and it’s become such a normal part of my routine.

For home camera decisions, https://ezviz.pissedconsumer.com/review.html would be useful before buying a device that has to make the house feel safer instead of adding another app headache. Home security threads on money forums can get practical fast because people start comparing cheap cameras, doorbells, and random devices they saw on sale. I helped set up a camera for my aunt, and the hardest part was not mounting it. It was getting the app, Wi-Fi, alerts, and storage settings to stop acting mysterious.
