Can you name one thing good that you did in 2009?

2009 for me started off a little rocky, but turned into a great year with plenty of memories to go along with it. I'd have to say the best thing tho was attending a few games at the new yankee stadium.  Goodthread topic

I took in a stray cat and named him Zeus!!!!  Now Callie my other cat has a playmate!!!

Not only did I have a babyboy in 2009, but I also rescues a cat by the name of tree top too, we named him tree top because he was stuck in the top of a tree, and only came down to me when he seen i had halfs of hotdogs in my hands, and he would not come down to my boyfriend though.

I find myself donating to charities more often & just giving the random homeless guy off the street some cash, or even just striking up conversations with them.

I hate it when I see people just flat out ignore those asking for help, I see it all the time where I live. It's one thing to not want to give your hard earned money to somewhere where you're not sure how it's going to be used, you have every right to think that way. But the least people can do is acknowledge that person exists by giving them a glance or just saying, sorry I have no money to give you.

I divorced my husband after years of abuse and got my Son off of drugs...for a while anyway. He's clean now, but this time it was HIS choice, it's the only way it will work.

quit smoking at the end of 2008 (close to 2009) FINALLY lol 

watched blue gold, the next industrial revolution, american zeitgeist, who killed the electric car, idiocracy, an inconvenient truth and a bunch of others to educate myself how i can help the a lot of people in the world

picked up more trash from the ground than most people throw away lol (sets a really good example to let people know that there are others who care)
removed tons of graffiti and those signs people put on poles than end up in the gutter and blowing around the city(per the city ordinance)

learned a lot about numismatics-ephemera-philatelics (if you don't know u have to look em up nya nya nya  ) http://dictionary.comt

donated more money than i ever have before to great organizations for educating people and assisting local small businesses

I survived mentally and physically.  Some things happened to me that I never saw coming because I trusted and loved too much.  At one point I didn't think I would make it without the grace of God.

My top 1 good thing I did- Eliminated a huge stress factor on myself and my families life, hmm after years of taking crap from one person, (not just I, but both my kids and my husband) it was about time to give her the boot!!

I volunteered several times at a soup kitchen.  I would have done it more regularly but I moved away.

I help my sister buried her son...now i am helping out my sister with our sister death.. This year was not great...
