Leaf removal burdens
« on: November 28, 2009, 05:54:25 pm »
so... today I was enjoying the 50 degree weather (east coast) and raking the leaves (not my choice for "exercise" but needed to be done) and then there were a series of events that made all of my work null and void.....
first.... the neighbor let her horribly big, yet sweet pooch out for a walk -- the dog ran right through the pile of leaves
secondly - my toddler woke up and thought he would help mommy -- he enjoyed putting all the leaves on the driveway (i had them piled under the tree on the grass-- I had already REMOVED them from the driveway)
lastly - the wind picked up and all those leaves that the dog and the son had messed up went all over!

I gave up and came inside for a chilled beverage.

Aww.. that's basically how I feel when the offers don't credit..  :- But it's okay.. keep your head up and I personally like the colorful leaves laying everywhere and blowing in the wind.  ;D
