Best black friday deals
« on: November 29, 2009, 04:28:07 pm »
what was the deal that you got on black friday?  was it worth it?

I didn't really get any great deals but i did go shopping.  I stocked up the pantry for the upcoming holidays and I was able to get a few items from the craft store that I normally would not have gotten.

I was going to do Black Friday online but the only thing I wanted they did not put up!  It was the $200 HP computer from Best Buy.  Plus it said on the site, 5 per store, one per customer.  So I wonder if they really only had 5 available?!  That would be a rip off to those who waited outside.  I think more stuff should be done online for BF for those of us who don't want to be shoved around or wake up 4 am.  Plus no risk of anyone getting trampled, but I guess it is sort of tradition for some people.

I am with you - I don't care to stand in line that much and I don't need anything that badly....
we try to keep the gift giving to a reasonable/controllable amount each year so I don't go crazy with black friday
for some it is the tradition -- and the zero account balance at the bank!
