No, it's horrible.  There are many fights that my husband and I have gotten into, even the stupid ones that mean nothing, that if I could just admit that I was wrong would make a world of difference.  Knowing this, do I change?  No. 
It is just extremely difficult for me to admit I'm wrong or apologize even though I know I need to.

People have too much pride.

Not being able to admit that you're wrong accomplishes nothing positive.  In fact, its the exact opposite.  Refusing to admit when you're wrong just makes you look like an arrogant *bleep*/*bleep*, a snob, and a know-it-all.

Get over yourself.  Admit when you're wrong, and if you don't know something, there's no shame in saying that you don't know.  Don't just come up with an answer and then defend it without any knowledge!  Admit that you don't know, and then make a note to yourself to find out later!  Be willing to learn!  By not acting like you know something when you don't, you won't have to apologize to someone later for misinforming them.

i have no problem admitting when i'm wrong. then again, in circumstances where my husband is involved, i rarely am.    but seriously, if i am wrong i have no problem admitting it and apologizing for the error when necessary.

as for pride, i'll admit that there are times when i am so convinced that i am right that i will go out of my way to try to prove that i am.

My wife says she thought I was Mr. Right when she first met me, but it took a few years of marriage before she realized my first name was Always.

Seriously I am very quick to admit I was wrong and apologize, even if I wasn't. What's the big deal about being right, who cares? Same thing about it being someone's fault, no fault needed, let's just get on with the party.

If I am wrong about something, yes I will admit and apologize for it.  We as human have this failing called Pride and it gets in the way everytime.  Its not worth being upset about insubstantial things.  Life is just too short.
