My mom made me live in the 80's (hair and clothes) until it was 1999. Thank the Lord I grew out of that stage. I never quite grew out of the 80's feel good music. To this day, I love it all!

My favorite 80's song?  Wow, hard to pick just one.  One that comes to mind is "You Shook Me
all Night Long" by AC/DC.  Also Twisted Sister "We're Not Gonna Take It", Rolling Stones "Start Me Up" , Men at Work "Down Under".

as a child of the 80s i find it hard to pick just one. i loved most of michael jackson's songs, especially "billie jean" and "man in the mirror." and i used to enjoy the weird al parodies.

now, i mostly enjoy 80s songs because they hold a special meaning or memory for me.

It has such a large vocal range, and is fun to sing at karaoke.

Speaking of which.... Have you guys seen these Literal Music videos? It's where they make a parody of the original music video but instead of the actual lyrics, they sing what is happening in the video. The idea was started by Dustin McLean (www.dustfilms.com) but others have copied this idea, so now there is a whole genre of these parodies on YouTube. They tend to be based off of videos from the 80s and early 90s since those videos tended to be more of an artistic venture than actually addressing what the song itself was about. Basically, the more off-the-wall the video is and more different than the lyrics to the original song, the funnier it is when they make the literal parody. You can see more of them on Dustin website or by searching YouTube for literal music videos.

Haven't started listening to Jazz 'til '92, so... I'm pretty much a variety person.

Hey Mickey by Tony Basil, Mr. Mister, was that in the 80's, Broken Wings, ha. Oh I think I listened to alot of bad for me music back then, yep, I didn't know how bad some of the other music was, guess we didn't listen to the lyrics, but yes I will admit, we listened to alot of motley crue, ozzy ozbourne, and junk like that. When I finally see what were in the lyrics, it freaks me out.
