I love pursuing the pay-it-forward theory, you do for someone, they do for someone, and it just keeps going forward...but I have to be the one to start it, and I absolutely love giving.  financially it's impossible for me to do it; I implement many of the other ideas already discussed...and some others could be creating coupon books for people...free hug, free bathroom cleaning, free 2 hrs of babysitting, whatever someone needs...

I agree but everyone doesnt think like that. A lot of people are just trying to get themselves up and arent concerned with anyone else. Some people just dont want to see others do better than they are now. I try to help when I can even if its something as small as sitting on the phone for hours for someone to vent and cry and say what they have to say.

Everytime I cashout $5 goes into someone else pocket. I could just save it up and cashout at least every 6 months and then get a big deposit into my pay pal account but i rather just cash out and hopefully get them $60 a year.

most people really don't want help - some need help - you can only help those who ask for help after they have done everything they can personally take responsibility for - then you can help

I try to do random acts of kindness. I don't do it everyday, but I do things like taking a shopping cart back, holding a door, putting a quarter in a meter, or an extra quarter or two in a vending machine. Anything you do for someone could change their entire day. You can put them in a better mood and then maybe they will help someone or do something nice for someone. Even just looking a cashier in the eyes and asking how they are and really listening is something most people don't do but is so easy!
A lot of people do it and there is a web site devoted to it. www.actsofkindness.org   :peace:

I feel we should always help someone along the way.  We just might have brighten their day with a simple smile. We are always building a boomarang in our lives.  We just need to be careful what materials we build it out of.  We can build it out of love, care , helpfulness, giving and many more that are positvies actions that we will embrace when it returns to us.  It does.  I love helping others and I dont have to worry about when it returns.  I can embrace it and start over.  Helping others is a blessing.
