You can use your credit card or your bank card... but not a prepaid gift card or anything of the sort since you can get in trouble for it.

Nothing is a free trial if you have to use your C.C number ect.. if it was a free tiral you wouldnt need to enter your info hence the word "FREE"

Well, if a company offers it's products/services for a Free Trial and money is involved, it is for s&h charges. Not the actual product/services. You're getting the product/services for Free for a specific amount of time. Then if you keep the product/services after said time, then you are charged for it. Another reason why you have to enter payment info. So after Free Trial, you will be billed automatically if not cancelled first.

So they are correct in offering a Free Trial as you are not actually paying for the product/services during the Free Trial period but the s&h.

It pays to read the fine print and things are explained in more detail.

The "trial" IS free....Just not the continuation of the use of their product, which usually just keeps going automatically. ....which is why you have to give a CC.  But the trial is the period of time they let you try the product before charging you. So technically it is free. :)

You actually have to give a CC so they can better assure that you are a unique individual and not some guy trying to cash in on the trial multiple times. Of course reoccuring billing is a biproduct of this.

The trials are truly free, plus the shipping. You only get charged further if you continue to use the product or service.
