im in the same boat   first i sulk  lol  then  i just keep on putting in applications  and  keep trying  one day   somethings gotta give   it seems now or days  u gotta know someone to get work  no matter what degree or your schooling backround is.  good luck

About 40 years ago I couldn't find a job, so I created my own that led to starting a company that I now sold and live off the money.

I say just keep looking. I haven't landed my first one yet, but as long as I keep sending applications out to all of the major companies I should be fine. Since I have a degree in chemical engineering with a pretty high GPA, it's just a matter of time as to when a company finds a need for someone like me. I can fill pretty much any technical position.

Lower your standards. I graduated from college and it's hard to not want a job that's in your field but in this economy, it's better that you find ANYTHING rather than nothing.

Jake keep trying, you need to crreat a job - start window washing, auto detail, lawn maintenance, pet sitting, office cleaning....... there are many ways to earn money just do not give up. remember that a "squeaky wheel gets the grease"
