Do You Play the Lottery?

I like to get into the Flordia Lottery and New Orleans from time to time.  At least I know these are true lotteries.

If you spend $100 on scratch tickets you might win $25 back. For the big bucks like mega millions, you have a better chance of getting struck by lighting twice than winning the jackpot.

I don't, but my husband puts a buck into the local pool when it gets to be a mega big sum.

I don't think I will mind sharing the big prize with those who also play in the pool....more chances to win.

No I really don't. I know some people do but I think it is a waste of your money. I saw this show where these two guys went in to play this lottery where that Jackpot was somewhere up around 31 million dollars and they bought something like 1163 "quick pick" tickets. Every single ticket was a LOSER! They just blew $1163.00 on the one in a gazillion chance that one of those tickets would win. Start your own business for FREE like I have and make some REAL monthly income.

I play the lottery maybe once every 6 months and only $1.00.  I already pay too much tax for everything, why continue to give them even more money freely.

No, not at all...I agree that it is a waste of time and money...I think its great to play once in a while, but not to the point where you get addicted.

I haven't in a long time. I used to until I saw the money I lost that I really could have used. Not saying playing is a bad thing, just that I don't have the money sometimes.
