Merry Christmas Kohler!!

I got a toaster oven so far. The rest of our gifts we will open tonight after dinner when all my kids and grandkids get here. But I might be getting an extra special Christmas gift, my daughter was due on December 18 and she went to the hospital this morning, so I may have a new grandson yet today!!! What fantastic Christmas!!!

This will sound cheesy but my dear husband earlier this week told me that he thought he would get me a new toaster -- I am thankful that we had the conversation because i DID NOT want a toaster!

he gave me a nice set of gloves/scarf along with a romantic love letter..... the letter topped the best gift ever.  You see .... my husband is NOT romantic on a regular basis and it is hard for him to show his emotions sometimes.... I always know he loves me, but he doesn't show me or tell me it as often as I would like.... BUT he wrote it out -- I will treasure this forever.

I also got to spend the day with my son and husband -- which is also a fabulous gift.  LOVE it.

We had a family/friend Christmas get-together for Christmas Eve, and had a warm and wonderful time!  We are having some friends over for Christmas dinner today.
I received some wonderful gift cards (J C Penney, Belk, Starbucks) and great other things (clothes, Bath & Body Works, Soap Dispenser [no hands],...)  It was great watching my loved ones open their gifts and see their expressions!  It's also a day in which we take time to read Luke 2:1-20, and remember that Jesus is the "reason for the season."

Thank you for the bonus, and I hope you all had/are having a wonderful Christmas!

I got a wooden vase set and a necklace. i just enjoyed watching my daughter open all the presents. my 4 month old son tried his best to open his present but he mostly drooled on it. it was cute

Well i spent a great day with the family.

I got a sweater, some socks, and a new coffee mug!

But the best gift was watching my grandfather play the guitar for the first time since his stroke. It made my year.

  My joy of Christmas came this morning as I watched my 3 young grandsons share the wonder that is Christmas. Oh, we will do the big dinner later but that early morning gift was the best ever. Hope everyone gets to share the special moments that last.

I got a new pencil case for my colored pencil for my scrapbooking, embossing plates, punches, and new programs for my slice, My son got a new computor chair he is so happy about it I can hardly get him out of it.  Will start are Christmas dinner in just a bit.

My family and I spent the day with our wonderful neighbors. We had dinner and dessert. Cornish hens, rice pilaf, roasted veggies, corn on the cob, cheddar bay bisquits, cheesecake, chocolate lava cake, fudge, bon bons, puppy chow, sugar cookies, and ice cream! It was great!! Now time for a nap!!!
