I bought candy to give out last year and no one showed up.  This year I'm not buying any, so 80 kids will probably show up at my door.

We live out in the country so never have trick-or-treaters. I miss having all the little ghouls and goblins come to the door.

That's the way it is here, too.  But they are all up in the "small" main part of town doing hayrides, and all kinds of things there.  At least they are having fun.  But I miss them coming to the door, too. Especially since I've spent all my life (except for the last 2 yrs.) in a big city.  It sure is different in the country!

I live in a big neighborhood so we get a ton of tricker-treaters. Sad thing is, costumes aren't that great and a lot of kids just walk around in t-shirt / jeans and some mask. I remember getting dressed up to the max when I was a kid with homemade costumes that my mom would make.
