Has anyone ever gotten a MyThoughtCounts survey to work?
« on: October 17, 2010, 09:25:25 am »
I've signed up to MyThoughtCounts, which supposedly offers surveys that can be offered daily and result in $1.00 credit each time.  However, every time I take a survey, it cycles through a bunch of questions and then says no surveys are available to take.  Not once have I gotten anywhere with it and naturally, I've never gotten any credit for answering their questions.

Am I doing something wrong or am I simply not whatever demographic it is they're looking for? Any suggestions on making "my thoughts" more appealing to them?

MTC is *really* hard to qualify for.  All you can do is keep trying.

I probably only get to complete any of the surveys every ten days or so.  Surveyhead seems to be the worst for me.  It usually gives me the "Sorry" page right after I click on it :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

The initial questions you answer are to determine if you qualify for a survey. There's nothing you can do to be "more appealing" to them, you just have to keep trying every day. When you do complete a survey, leave your browser window open for about 5 minutes until it credits. This seems to work for me.  :)

The surveys are really hard to qualify for...I've only gotten them every couple of days. Just keep at it, and eventually you'll be able to complete one ;)

Yea I agree that My Thought Counts is a hard one to get qualified for sometimes. But you got to just keep on trying until you get one that matches you. It does me the same way every other day, until there is none that matches me or I have taken them all.

I do occasionally qualify and have gotten all the way through and received credit! Today was one of those days!

I have never been able to qualify for and complete any of the surveys.  It may be that I work in market research or my demographics.  I have given up trying but other Fc members have been very successful doing daily surveys.   Some of the survey companies will not even let me sign up.    :crybaby2:

I used to have problems with MTC surveys as well. After some fooling around and some tips from other members, MTC surveys are usually easy money for me now. This is what I do...

1. If you get the Red Error message which seems to happen alot with MTC, close out the window wait a few seconds, then click it again. You should get through the second time.

2. You will ALWAYS go through a series of questions to qualify you for a survey. Sometimes this process is quick, somtimes this process can be quite frustrating. Either way, keep trying! If you can't get qualified for a survey after 5-8 attempts then I suggest closing everything out, CLEARING YOUR COOKIES/CACHE, then come back to FC and try again. You should eventually be able to get qualified.

3. If your doing surveys on any "other" GPT sites or other survey sites you will always run into problems getting qualified. Keep in mind that most of the surveys MTC offers usually route through Toluna, OTX, etc so if you have been taking mulitple surveys on other sites as well, you probably will struggle with getting qualified on the MTC and SSI surveys offered on FC!

Best tip I can give is keep trying!!

I have gotten it to work before. But it just depends on what they are lookin for. I dont always qualify, but I always keep at it! and then eventually I do. Keep at it, you'll get it.

I've qualified on it before, but it took me a few tries. I've never qualified for a survey the first time I took it, I don't believe.
