For sure.  Have done so for the last ten years!  Only time of the year I don't shave, except for as long as my team lasts in the NFL and NHL playoffs.

I'm not going to be participating.. Never heard of this before.

But really, why do people act like it's gross to not shave? There is absolutely nothing gross about it, but you still hear "EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW." Do people think it's unclean or something? Because it's really not unclean at all to not shave. o_o

How did No shave Nov. start?

I learned about it when I was an UltraGuide at pogo.com.  The guy who ran the program, Tahd Frentzel, started a club called the "November Beard Club" back in college in the late 80s in San Francisco, I believe.

In I think 1993, it actually got exposure, where they had articles in papers, radio interviews, and sponsorships.  They even had a website.  But, I believe that club kind of fizzled out and doesn't now exist in any official capacity.  There are now lots of other No Shave November/November Beard Club/Movember groups.  Whether they were inspired by this one, that I don't know.

My husband is.  He shaved his face in preparation.

I usually don't shave in the winter because I find that leg hair is good insulation against the cold!  HAHA, j/k.  The hair on my legs, though, is blond, and I could most likely go for the month without shaving and it wouldn't be that huge of a deal.

I knew this girl in college who swears up and down that shaving is one of the worst things a woman could do...that shaving legs actually began in an effort for women to appear younger and prove that they were virginal so it would be easier to marry.  So embrace the fuzz on your legs, ladies!  Its a sign of your enlightenment and experience!  Virgins need not apply
