I have applied for so many jobs and I haven't gotten any interviews or even phone calls so far.  I really feel lost right now. I started looking more than one month ago.
I recently graduated from an Administrative Assistant Career School and had completed 2 years of a Bachelor degree program in the same area, but didn't graduate since I move to another country.
My resume was professionally done and looks really professional although I don't have much experience in the area.
I'm also looking for part-time jobs because, I don't want to leave my 3 year old son all day at the daycare. What am I doing wrong?  :-

It's not the resume that is all that important for you at this time.  It sounds as if you are sending out resumes and waiting for people to get back to you.  They will not do that!!  You and only you must be more proactive.  Go out personally, eye to eye, and drop off your resume.  Call the HR department.  Keep bugging them and let them know you are just what they want in a great employee.  Keep your resume to one page.  If it is more than two, people just will not read it.  Put your bottom line up front in your resume.  Most people put the best stuff last.  Do not make that mistake.  There are a lot o "job fairs" out there.  Go to them dressed in business attire. Remember, short resumes, job fairs, and most important be proactive.  Go to them, they will not come to you.  Hope this helps.

there are probably a lot of people that are looking for the same jobs as you are. You have got to do something to stand out and stick in the mind of the person who is interviewing you.

Thank you so much for all the advice. I'm not very confident, but I believe I'm qualified. I just need to gain that confidence back and follow your advice.

Thanks to all of you!

That's the spirit!  I use to feel that way too, but if you keep at it and be proactive eventually you'll get that call back.

It's not impossible to get a job.  It's impossible to get a good job.
