wow...gruesome indeed...there's some other bad ones I've seen too, such as the hockey goalie who had his throat slit by a blade...he barely
survived, and watching all the blood pour out was just disgusting....

Yeah, Iv'e heard of Football players getting REALLY hurt out there. Some could  get physicly older than normal because of the crap that happens to them. HAppy T G!
