what's the best new(er) movie you've seen?

there seems to be nothing worth watching on t.v., so i'm resorting to movies. what are your recent favorites? (you can list ones in the theater or on dvd.) i enjoyed shutter island, kickass, inception, and a few others. i was a little disappointed by the deathly hallows, little fockers, grown ups, and dinner for schmucks.

We went to see True Grit last night and were thouroughly entertained.  I thought that Jeff Bridges did an exceptional job although I really liked the original, with John Wayne, much better.  I hoping that Jeff Bridges will remake some of the other John Wayne movies. Jeff Bridges makes a good cantankerous, ornary, belligerent son of a gun.  This movie made me want to see a few of the others that he has put out within the last couple of years.

Saw True Grit also. Really liked the outhouse scene. The Fighter was very good also.

it had to  be Tron this past December , it was amazing and worth the long wait , im so buying it on Blu Ray when it comes out

 A few days ago I watched Avatar for the first time, and I have to say that it was really good and it also looked great!
