Does your body have an inner clock?
« on: January 20, 2011, 11:15:38 am »
Do you wake up each morning right before your alarm goes off?

I don't have to get up in the morning, so each morning is different.

But, nighttime is another story.  I usually head for bed some time after 11:00.  I always read in bed.  When I am reading, I cannot see my clock.  I have to lift my head and turn it to see the clock.  The weird thing is that almost every night, when I decide it is time to stop reading, I will check the clock as I turn off my light and it is at 12:00 or a minute before or after.  I may have read for an hour, half an hour, or twenty minutes - it is still midnight.

My inner clock is cool, I just speak the time I want to get up and 90% of the time that is when I wake up. To the minute.

I wake up exactly a minute before my alarm clock very often. Its very weird, but helpful i guess.

i used to! when i'm on a regular schedule, i'm
up a minute before the alarm goes off. however,
right now my work schedule isn't very consistent,
so ignoring the alarm is quite easier to do.

i can always estimate what time it is and be pretty
close though, just based on how long ago i looked
at the clock/what it looks like outside... lol.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]
