I love dogs,the bigger the better.  Just lost my big puppy (150 pounds of cuddly love) to bone cancer and miss him so much.  He was just the best and my husband is without his best buddy now.

I love all kinds of animals.  I am not saying that out of a touchy feely reasons.  I really do love animals.  I have five dogs, one cat, three turtles, a rabbit, and lots of reptiles.  I am a reptile dealer and am hoping by this summer to have enough inventory to open a web site of my own to sell them there.  My exhusband and I had a small hobby farm together but when we got divorced he took the farm and I moved into town because of medical reasons I could no longer care for the animals that we had there.  At the farm we are dog breeders, australian shepherds and rat terriers.  I also used to do rehab for the local shelter.  I worked with abused animals to get them back to there trusting loving self so that they could be place in a forever home.  We also have a small herd of goats, one donkey, one welch pony, ten chickens, one rooster,lots of dogs that are up for adoption, and a few barn cats (the cats are not necessarily ours but show up at feeding time so they are feed also).  There is also a pond out at the farm that has six canadian geese that show up every spring to raise their babies.  I do go out there as often as I can during the week to work with the animals as much as I physically can.  I miss them and the amount of work that I used to do there.

If you are talking pets, then I have to go with dogs for sure, maybe rabbits too.

In general, I'm partial to penguins.  I also really like wolves, otters and snow leopards.

If you are talking about pets at home, I would like a dog, birds, and if I have a big area would like a lake with ducks, horses, I like all kind of animals, the only one that I won't have ever at home are cats, I like how they look and thats it.

  I love animals of all kinds. But if I had to choose one as a pet I guess it would have to be a dog. I used to own a farm and I had a multitude of animals. I raised ducks and used to sit for hours just watching them bob around and vocalize their joy when I would give them extra treats of minnows and crickets. I also raised Nubian milk goats. I made the mistake of playing with my first one when he was about 8 weeks old. We would play king of the mountain and chase each other around the pen. Well,I don't have to tell you what eventually happened; but I will. He grew to weigh about 250 lbs. but his attitude towards play didn't deminish! He didn't know just how big he was nor that he was extremely strong. One day, he wanted to play and got carried away and I got penned up against the barn wall. We both got hurt from that ordeal and I learned a very important lesson that day. We recovered but I didn't play with him anymore.
