That is a good question and I feel that the more marketing you do with a variety of methods is the way to go.  Always start with people you know personally like friends and family. I had started my own blog with detailed info about FC with my payment proofs~then printed out some FREE business cards with VistaPrint (FC offer) and passed those out as well as online marketing.

I agree that a blog is a great way to market. Find something you like to write about and make it interesting for people to click on to your site. Then market FC.

I bet the $100 Bill Drop Cards would work good to attract people to your blog, then use a catchy name like Tired Of Broke
