lol I am 28 and on my way to 30.  It is a little scary in thought to be reaching that age already, but at the same time, I don't feel that old, nor do I look it.  So, that is what helps me not feel so bad about turning 30.  I think 30 is a great age...you're not too young, but not too old.  However, I think it should be a turn in life for everyone.  What I mean is that it should kick in your maturity or being wiser...or caring about your health more, exercising, or caring about your family a lot more...  I feel it should be a turning point in everyone's life for the better...not for the worse though.  I feel you should look a life to be more precious and to enjoy it even more.  You should try new things, upgrade your look, travel to a new place, or just anything that will make you feel good about being 30. :)

this summer i'll be 25 and i really can't wrap my head
around it. i realize that in the grand scheme of things,
that's still young. however, i feel like "25" sounds so
grown-up... but i don't. i don't feel like i should
be half of 50 yet.

time is a strange thing and i never knew how i felt about
the saying, "age is just a number" but the older i get,
the more my age doesn't correspond with my thinking
or being. i'll forever be young, despite my age, i feel.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I'm two days away from my big 3-0...I feel bummed about it sometimes but mostly because I have to dye my hair, not just for fun anymore. And I just bought my first wrinkle treatment to help keep my face looking young.  :'(

I didn't have any problems turning 30 and now I will be turning 40 this year and still no problems.  I just don't put much stock in age.  I like the saying you are as young as you feel.  I have my aches and pains physically (arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc) but I just don't feel old or older.   :)

Awww, don't cry. If it makes you feel better I'm turning 28 today. In two years I will be 30 myself. I'll tell you how I feel about it when I get there.

No. Nobody can stop the aging process. You breathe oxygen everyday, you eat and sleep everyday, so it’s impossible to not grow old. ;D Remember, age is just a number.  ;)

I'm 30 also. Just turned 30 like 2 weeks ago. I feel younger physically, but emotionally I feel wiser and mature. It seems like I cry more now to movies, or things just affect me more for some reason. But, many of my friends feel that they are old and don't stay physically active   :P...hmmm, no wonder they feel old!! If you take great care of yourself, your age is just a number. I am fortunate that I was blessed with "young looks" genes. Anyone who knows me will tell you I look like a 16 year old girl....lol.....I take that as a compliment and it always cheers me up!  :)

I had the 39th anniversary of my 30th birthday in January.  Where in the heck did all these years go???  I kinda remember my 30th....I think that's the year I had a meltdown and went out and got my ears pierced or some silly thing....LOL    :crybaby2:

Just remember that 30 is the new 20 and the alternative to growing older is defiantly worse. I will soon be 60 and feel 40. I may not look it but I feel it and that's what counts.

Age doesn't bother me either. My mother always says, What's the alternative? My kids are adults now and the hubby and I are enjoying new freedoms and looking forward to new adventures.
