We have so many people who do not like to live here, but we have so many people from other country that do. America or another Country?

No matter where a person lives, there will be pros and cons.

:sad1: Personally, I feel that the U.S.A. is the greatest place to live. I have lived in other countries during the course of my life; and although there are many problems in this wonderful country of ours it is still the only place where one has the freedoms that we have. I love my country and regardless of it faults I would not want to live anywhere else. :peace:

My husband and I are pondering on buying a home in Ecuador to live their part of the year and then spend the rest of the time in the USA where our roots are.  There are pros and cons every in any situation in what country to live in and really in decisions you make in life itself.

As u said America is free country, but other people have their home country too. The people who have born and grown up here will maore attachment than people who don't. Moreover, America has stringent rules over immigrants. So, They find it difficult to enter. Not only that if they enter also, other things like drivers license etc are a tedious process.

Land of the free?...and I have to pay for everything. Yes, I agree there is more freedom here than in other countries. Live where you feel comfortable.

I'd move to Norway.

Quote
Norway leads the 2010 list ranking the prosperity of 110 of the world's nations by the London analytical center Legatum Institute.

Norway also topped the 2009 rankings.

"The Prosperity Index seeks to understand how economic fundamentals, health, freedom, governance, safety, education, entrepreneurial opportunity, and social capital influence a country's economic growth and the happiness of its citizens," the group says.

Europe dominates the Top 10, taking six of the spots. The United States and Canada represent North America, while Australia and New Zealand check in from the Pacific-Asia nations.

I would not want to live in any other country.  Americans have more human rights.

I can't see myself leaving the US only because all my family is here and I would miss them too much. Visiting other countries is enough for me.  :)

I was born and raised here at home in the U.S. of A. I don’t mind living in another country for work and other charitable causes, however my home would always be here in America the land of the FREE.  :)  :peace:

As I prepare to embark onn an international flight and am repackaging shampoos,  sunscreen (after having seventy five dollars worth confiscated by homeland security at my last vacation) and other toiletries....leaving two hours earlier than normal to get through TSA...I think that your question is quite poignant and perfectly timed.  I think that we said good bye to alot of freedom as the Bush administration turned us into a military monarchy.

Well they call it land of the free, but it is more like land of take all my money for taxes. But other than that I would not want to live in a country that is desolate, I pray for all that have to live with no water, ect. It is really sad to see them having to drink dirty water, ect. While we here all look for the latest technology they are walking every day down to a dirty river to carry a bucket of filthy water back to give to their children. Just pray for them, may they be reached and know their is hope.
