I believe the world should be revising and reciting the rules and saftey things to do for this particular incident that may occur some day. Knowledge is a powerful tool when the rest of the world is in turmoil. Feel free to add comments to my discussion thanks.

I would rather be in the group of people that die in the blast instead of tryinh to survive in a nightmare world. Especially since you can't hope for anyone you love to make it through with you.

      Have and emergency kit in a backpack ready to go with you. It should include some blankets, water and food.

You beat me to it! lol. I want to be close enough to see the flash. I'll take a pass on the slow death by radiation poisoning. Some things you can't do much about, so it's better to try not to worry. It's like worrying about an asteroid hitting the Earth, you wouldn't know it was coming until it was too late anyway.
